Queenstown Hill Summit – Nestled in the heart of Queenstown, this is one of the region’s most beloved and accessible trails. This challenging 1.5km ascent meanders through a lush pine forest, eventually emerging above the treeline to reveal breathtaking views of the Remarkables, Cecil Peak, Lake Wakatipu, and the Kawarau River.

Queenstown Gardens – Begin your stroll at Queenstown Bay Beach and follow the Te Araroa Trail into the Queenstown Gardens. Along the way, you’ll find numerous benches where you can pause and enjoy the stunning views of Lake Wakatipu.

Tobins Track Arrowtown – A brisk hike to the summit of Tobins Track offers breathtaking views of Arrowtown and the wider Wakatipu basin. You can find the entrance to Tobins Track at the bottom of Ford Street, near the corner of Centennial Avenue and Bedford Street. It should take approx. 1 hour return (30 minutes each way).
